Bank Holiday Monday
Just a very quick line to review the weekends gigs. Saturday night in Chichester was a classic KT performance. Hot, sweaty, drunken with plenty of leaping about and singing. The large pub mirror on the wall stage right was destroyed by an over active dancer but we still got paid!! New drummer Dominic Kelly played like he’d been with us all his life; just need to bring his drinking up to speed!!
Sunday night at the Admiral Drake in Portsmouth was a typical Sunday night gig at the Ad. I’m off to put some posters up at the Railway, Gosport. See you there on the 29th.

Great gig Saturday night guys, we all had a great time. Top marks to Dominic on the drums, first time with the band? You’d never have guessed it. Not so sure about the new mandolin player though, he kept blowing kisses at me, are you that sort of band? Maybe that’s why you lose so many drummers? You could always get those two birds back on the bodhrans that used to play with you,Tommy Gun…..come on? I know it would put the bar bill up but but it’s worth as thought?

Dear Mr Henna,
I am the “New” Mandolin player you mention in your article and I was not blowing kisses at you, but blowing them at the tall curly grey haired near-pentagenarian gentleman behind you.
However, now I know that you are interested, I am sure that I can be “turned”.
