Just a reminder that we’re appearing at the festival this Sunday ( July 6th) in Walpole Park, Gosport and should be on stage just after 4pm. Please come along and say hello; after all the weather can’t be any worse than last year!!
We’ve just updated the tour page to include all our gigs up to the end of September. Seems like we’re going to be busy. Work is coming to an end on our live cd and hopefully it will be on sale at gigs by August. Also there is a new film on youtube of our 2 drummers bashing it out at a recent gig. On Sunday we’re at the Gipsy Queen in Gosport betwen 4 and 7pm and we’re playing on Monday 17th at a dinner dance at the Alverbank Hotel in Alverstoke. Details for this one are at www.alverbankhotel.co.uk
A massive thanks to everyone that came along to the gig on Saturday night to raise funds for the memorial fund. It all went very well and everybody seemed to have a good time. Its too early to give a final total but it looks like in the region of £520 was raised on the night. So once again thanks to everyone that put the evening together and we’ll do it all again this time next year!
On Saturday November 17th we will be playing at the Middlecroft in Gosport to try and raise a bit of cash for the fund set up in memory of Phils son, James who died earlier this year. There have been several fundraising events so far and the plan is to donate any money raised to the Accomodation Resource Centre in Gosport. If you only come to one more gig this year please come to this one. Admission is free but there will be a collection and raffles on the night so please give generously. We have a couple of ticketed gigs at the beginning of August. Friday August 3rd is at Talking Heads, Southampton. Tickets are available on 02380 678446. Band are on about 10pm and there is a late bar till 2am. Next night, Saturday August 4th is at Wickham Community Centre and tickets are 2.50 available on 01329 833688. Buy your tickets early to ensure disappointment!
